DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
Urkraft is an NGO/social enterprise that provides vocational training and education for unemployed people. The activities are in the form of vocational orientation, vocational training, career guidance etc. Urkraft works with career counselling of people with a holistic approach;
- Career guidance and initial vocational training
- Mentoring of those who leave education with no qualifications
- Assistance in placement and integration into the labour market
- Work placements and cooperation with partner organisations across Europe
The teams involved in vocational training and testing are made up of social workers, teachers and counsellors. Their professional experience and additional qualifications enable them to give individually tailored support.
The staff have several years experience in transnational project development and project management in the educational sector.

The setup was planned as an SE but fully aware of the concept of being a social enterprise is only since 2013.
FUTURE DEVELOPMENT PLANS
Develop a deeper cooperation with local employers and perhaps also being able to do som lego work as a sub contractor to some local companies in order to create more hands on tasks for our participants. We are also developeing and starting up a new social enterprise – a Green house that will provide the local parish with flower for the funeral services and graveyards.

Be aware that you will need moore than one funding scenario – good network of partners. A good product that someone is willing to pay for.
