Good network with local employers. A “sales department” – one person in charge of meeting industrial companies and convincing them to change location for the development of their products from China, Baltic region etc to a local arena.
AWARENESS
About a year after they first started. They always knew they had a social agenda and wanted to make a difference for people far from the labour market but they did not communicate to the local employers or Municipality/Labour office about the company structure until a year in to the production phase.
FUTURE DEVELOPMENT PLANS
They are trying to start up business in Robertsfors as well ( a small Municipality south of Skellefteå)
ADVICE FOR STARTING UP A SE
Most importatnt is to have a good network and a good business idea! You need to be professional in the sales area and also willing to work hard to battle predjudice regarding people with disabilities as well as being a Social Enterprise.
